Plastic cards are cheaper before vat increase
Hi All,
As I am sure you are aware come the 1st January 2011 the VAT rate increases by 2.5% to 20%
If you would like to save a few £'s on your plastic card orders please think about ordering now.
If you are unable to place your order in the next month, all is not lost, if we look at a basic price for 500 x 760 micron full colour solid plastic cards at our current price of £235 + VAT, which including VAT at 17.5% is £276.13 in total
Comparing this to the new 20% rate the total cost of £235 + VAT at 20% is £282.00
The difference being £5.87
So although every one would prefer the £5.87 in their pockets the increase is not too large.
