Hi All,
A 1st class stamp now costs a massive 46p (this is for items up to 100 grams).
Large letter first class stamps have rose by a huge 9p to now be 75 pence!
For a few years now we have been asking customers who require samples for our satin black plastic cards, frosted plastic cards, full colour plastic cards to send over a SAE, I think that back then a large letter stamp was just over 40p (this was when it was first introduced).
I can't believe how much stamps are now. I know royal mail have lost a lot of business over the year due to people emailing birthday / Christmas cards rather than posting them. At this rate it will be cheaper to hand deliver all your cards!
We have actually stopped using royal mail for as much as possible and moved to private courier due to the disappointing service.
I hope royal mail improve there service soon otherwise I can see more and more people not using them.
