Free sample plastic card
Hi All,
Its a common theme this week, today received this email:
"Can you provide a sample and a cost per 500 cards. The draft is attached
I am unable to place an order until we see a sample either in paper /pdf format. Can this be done? If the card is acceptable, I can supply the logo.
Please call if you wish to discuss further"
The draft attached was an excel file with poor quality logo. We would have to ask a member of our design team to spent time working on this, with the softwear the company has paid for.
How can I say no to this to this person without him shouting at me! Funny thing with this enquiry is that they emailed yesterday as well which said:
Can you produce a realistic proof of a double sided, credit card size, safety card as per the attached sample. Any other suggestions would be received with interest. logo must be retained
No mention of price / needing a quote. It always make me wonder if it really is an order when they don't even know how much it will cost. Another curious thing is that its the cutomers design in an excel file but he is saying if the card is acceptable he will place an order, its your design we would need to spend time putting it into a print ready format. Confused!
