Quiet week for plastic cards, what has happened?
Saturday, October 24th, 2009Recently, we have been mega busy here at Colour Plastic Cards limited but this week, in particular the last 3 days it has been dead.
Is it half term, is everyone on holiday?
Please let us know – why has it gone so quiet.
After spending many many years in the plastic card industry, we know that quiet days do occur and we always take this opportunity to do some background work, i.e. tidy pages on the website etc.
We know for a fact that next week will be mega busy so we are bracing ourselves for it.
Metal business cards, a cheaper alternative
Wednesday, October 21st, 2009We offer metal looking business cards which are very effective and eyecatching
.
They are available with a gold or silver finish and can be printed on one or both sides with either a single colour or multiple colours. We are also able to print sequential numbering and signature strips allowing the cards to be used as membership or loyalty cards.
Plastic cards, some crafty people
Monday, October 12th, 2009We are still amazed by the number of people that try to get free postal proofs from us by claiming that it will lead to a big order. We have heard this story so many times over the years.
We had a customer try to do this today (a Manchester based Design company) and didn’t want to make an order – just wanted a postal proof (finished plastic card).
Customer got rather stroppy and got on his ‘high horse’ and next thing started complaining about everything (its amazing what people do when they simply don’t want to pay)
They were speaking to a member of our staff (Catherine) by asking half a dozen or so questions but never allowing Catherine to answer any. When Catherine could finally get a word in edge ways she said “I would like to answer your questions but you wont let me speak, how would you like me to help you?”
The customer then emailed to say our staff are rude!
We simply deleted his email and proceeded to concentrate on our many many other, polite and respectful customers.
This kind of ‘customer’ we can all do without!
