Recently we have been receiving more orders for our clear plastic cards.

The increase in clear plastic card orders is from a combination of repeat plastic card orders, referral plastic card orders, our website being more prominent on the internet so more customers can find us and also because we have recently updates the clear plastic card galleries showing various examples of our work.

A clear plastic card will always be eye catching, even if printed with just a single ink colour, rather than a more complicated and expensive multi colour plastic card.

A small order for 100 clear plastic cards was placed on the 26th May, it just had one colour to the front and was quite a simple yet effective design.

We dispatched the order on the 2nd June which is 5 working days. The customer was very pleased that the cards arrived earlier than expected & sent us a lovely email saying:

“The cards arrived this morning

Thank you so much – they’re absolutely great! Speedy delivery too. I will be recommending CPCards!”

The customer originally wanted the cards for the 4th June and we advised that this  may be a little tight which  in the end we got the cards to the customer a day early.

It has come to our attention that a lot of American companies are advertising clear plastic cards on the internet search engines. I just wanted to point out that we are a UK based company and our cards are produced in the UK.

This means that the production and shipping time for your order is not delayed by the cards having to cross waters or potentially been delayed by customs.

Also remember that we your order goods from America you will also be subject to duty (which I believe is 5%) and VAT (which we would obviously have to apply at the current rate of 15%).

A clear plastic card proof for elite limousines

We often have customers asking for frosted and satin black cards with a very short time period.

The standard turnaround time for this product is 7 to 10 working days.

This time frame builds in time for the printing plates to be ordered, produced and received. This can at worse case scenario take 3 working days.

The timeframe also includes time to actually print the cards and some room for any problems occurring. For example occasionally the printing plates may be damaged in the post / during transit.

We can offer rush order, which may sometime but subject to an additional charge to cover ordering express printing plates and paying staff to work overtime.

I just wanted to very briefly explain why this product does take a little time to produce.

A repeat customer who places regular orders for frosted plastic cards with three ink colours got in touch last week, as they urgently required some cards for an event.

The order was for the total quantity of 1250 cards but split between 3 different names/designs.

As this order involved different names and therefore different  printing plates the pressure was really on with this order.

Luckily we managed to juggle things around a little and managed to dispatch with time to spare,

The customer comments are as follows:

“The business cards have arrived a whole day early and they look fantastic,
thank you very much.”

We managed to dispatch this order in  three working days.

We have recently added information to our artwork specifications page for our clear plastic cards to help people to design the cards. It lists the printing limitations for the clear plastic cards.

The page is only a couple of weeks old and we have already received lots of positive feedback.

All I can say is we are glad that the information we have provided is helping people to design their own cards.

Alternatively, we are able to crate a card design free of charge. All you need to do is email the wording/details you require on the card and pay a £50 deposit and our design studio will create your clear plastic card design and email a photo-realistic proof to you to check.

We recently printed a clear plastic card for a regular customer. We think this design is quite unique and looks stunning.

There are limitations to the printing that can be done on the clear plastic cards however this does not stop the card from looking stunning

We have produced frosted plastic cards for many years and we have always called them frosted cards. However recently we have started to also call them clear cards, frosted clear cards and even translucent cards as this is what some our of competitors call them and customers often get confused thinking they are all different products. So don;t worry if you see description on name changes on our website, the cards are still the same but we are changing the name to help our customers.

Likewise, our satin black plastic cards are sometimes called matt black plastic cards, they are both the same think. Basically they are a black plastic card with a non-glossy finish. You could argue all day whether it is a matt or a satin finish we just choose to call them satin but we will also be referring to them as matt to help customers.
