QR Codes

Hello all,

Just a quick message to let you know that if you require a QR code on your full colour solid plastic cards this does not cost extra. Some companies have been charging more for this but assuming you are supplying print ready artwork with the QR code as part of the artwork there is no extra cost to you.

People often use QR codes to give easy access to a website and are often used on business cards and membership cards.

Stamp prices

Hi all,

Today is the day the stamp prices increase. We moved on to sending most orders via courier quite a few years ago however we do send most of our bureau orders via royal mail.

For the time being Colour Plastic Cards will absorb the cost increase of the postage which hopefully will help our existing customers.

We are aware that a lot of companies are having to review budgets at the moment and we hope this gesture will help our customers.

Its not just existing customers that we are not increasing the prices for, but new ones as well.

Plastic cards deadlines

Hello all,

Just a quick message about deadlines, we appreciate that sometimes cards are needed quickly, sometimes very quickly!

We had an enquiry today asking for both frosted plastic cards and satin black plastic cards for Wednesday this week. We said unfortunately this does not give us enough time as we would need to dispatch tomorrow. They came straight back saying Thursday at the very latest, our reply was yes this is achievable.

We experience this situation each and every week, where someone does have a genuine deadline but they take a day off just in case. Which sometimes means we can not meet the deadline we have been presented with!

Anyhow, I will get to the point.....if you have a deadline for an order, please can you provide the actual latest you can receive the cards, we do where ever possible dispatch the order sooner. You could even say, for example, absolute deadline to receive the cards is Friday however Thursday would be preferred (we would also prefer to get them to you sooner if we can).

Am i making sense!?!

Flooding and plastic cards orders are flooding in

Hello all,

I am glad to say that the adverse weather conditions over the weekend have not affected us and production times for all products (full colour plastic cards, frosted cards, satin black cards all remain the same as usual.

On a separate note, to any of our readers who have been affected by flooding etc, we hope that everything is back to normal for you as soon as possible.

If anyone has any particular queries in relation to time frames e.g. a tight deadline, please email letting us know your full requirements e.g. product, quantity, any optional extras and latest date you can receive them and we will get back to you asap.

April showers

Hi All,

The April showers have definitely hit which is good news for our gardens and hopefully meaning those who have not been affected by hosepipe bans will be saved from this! Taking of gardens we have had a few orders already this year for our full colour plastic cards to be used as tickets for flower shows.

I am sure you are aware there are quite a few infamous flowers shows around the country now, to name just a few Tatton Park, Chelsea, Southport and Harrogate, let me know of any others you like to attend or know of. Any how bye for now and remember it will be summer soon.
