We refer to the colours as inks or foils.
Whats the difference between inks and foils?
There is no difference, they are the same thing.
We find some customers call them inks, whilst some customers like to call them foils.
For each colour that is printed on each side of the card a printing plate or block needs to be chemically etched of the design for that one colour.
So, for this card a total of 3 printing plates/blocks are required and it is classed a 3 colour print.
