VIP Cards

A VIP card has one job: to make the holder feel they are on a list that other people are not. It has to look better than the loyalty card in the same wallet, and door staff have to recognise it in a dark entrance.

CP Cards prints VIP and priority cards for nightclubs, cocktail bars, restaurants, private members’ clubs and hotels. Manufactured in England since 1992.

Satin black and metallic cards

Our satin black and metallic cards are hot foil printed in gold, silver or a small number of solid colours. The finish suits a logo and a name. It cannot reproduce photographs or gradients, so designs built from flat shapes and clean type work best.

Numbered, named and embossed

  • A card number, printed or embossed
  • The member’s name, embossed like a credit card
  • A signature panel, so staff can check the card against the holder
  • A barcode or magnetic stripe, if your till or booking system needs one

Embossing gives raised characters you can feel, in black, silver or gold, up to 22 characters on a line at 5mm high. Most options can be combined on one card; tell us what the card has to do and we will tell you what fits.

Full colour VIP cards

If your brand depends on photography or a gradient, a full colour white card printed on both sides will reproduce it, with a gloss or matt finish. Metallic foil can be added to a full colour card for a logo or a border.

How to Order

  1. Tell us the quantity, the card type and any names or numbers
  2. Send your logo and member list
  3. Approve a free digital proof
  4. Cards printed and dispatched in 7 working days from proof approval and payment

Minimum order 25 cards — a small first run keeps the list exclusive. Standard turnaround 7 working days from proof approval and payment.

Running a VIP list that means something

A VIP card loses its value once everyone has one. Issue a limited, numbered run, record who holds which number, and cancel a number when a card is lost or starts being passed around. No software is needed: the number is the record.

Change the design each year, or each season, and the old cards retire themselves.

Why not a metal card?

Metal cards exist, and they cost enough per card that few venues can afford to reissue them every year. A satin black or metallic PVC card gives much of the same effect at a price that lets you refresh the design when the list changes.

Printed for venues across the UK

VIP cards are printed alongside the membership cards, loyalty cards and cloakroom tags we produce for bars, clubs and hotels. Every order includes a free photorealistic email proof, and a posted proof card is available if you want to see the foil in your hand before the full run.
