Custom Printed Luggage Tags

Paper luggage labels tear off in the hold. A rigid plastic tag with your logo on one side and the traveller’s details on the other stays on the case for the whole trip, and often for years of trips after it.

A group tag in one bright colour does most of the work on its own. The driver loading the coach can see which cases belong to your party without reading a single label.

Names printed on every tag

Send a spreadsheet of travellers and we print each tag with its own name, group or room number. That saves someone filling in forty paper labels by hand on the morning of departure, and the details cannot smudge, because the print is sealed under the surface of the card.

For privacy, we suggest a first name and a mobile number rather than a home address. A tag hanging off a suitcase in an airport can be read by anyone standing behind it in the queue.

Fitting the tag

Tags are standard card size, 86 x 54mm, in 760 micron PVC. We punch a 5mm hole or a 15 x 3mm slot so the tag can take a loop strap, a cable tie or a steel wire loop — see our holes and slots guide for positions. Straps and loops are not supplied, which keeps the price down if you already have fittings or prefer to buy them in bulk.

Working back from the departure date

Most luggage tag orders have a fixed deadline: the day the coach leaves. Allow 7 working days for production after you approve the proof and pay, then delivery, which is free within Great Britain. If the date is tight, an express service of 3 to 4 working days is also available. Ask us for cost and availability.

If the traveller list is still changing, print the confirmed names now and order a few blank tags with a write-on panel for late additions. The panel takes an ordinary pen.

Why plastic tags outlast paper labels

Baggage belts, trolleys and coach holds are hard on anything tied to a case. Paper labels tear at the eyelet and laminated ones split along the edge. A solid PVC tag is the same material and thickness as a bank card, flexes without cracking and keeps its print, because the ink sits under the card surface. A traveller who keeps the tag keeps your name on their case for every trip after that one.
