Find anything and you can fix it yourself for nothing, or we will fix it for £10 +vat
Send us your artwork. We’ll make sure it prints.
The check itself is free. If you supply your own artwork, we will carefully check it for any technical issues to ensure your plastic cards look their absolute best. That happens on every file, and it costs you nothing.
If we do find something, you decide what happens next: put it right yourself and send the file back at no charge, or hand it to us and we will do it for £10 +vat. There is no obligation either way, and we tell you what is wrong before you choose.
Most files need nothing doing to them.

How the Check Works
Send your file over
Attach it to your quote request or your order — whatever you have, in whatever format your designer gave you.
If it is too big to email, tell us and we will give you somewhere to upload it.
We check it properly
A person opens the file and looks at it against what the press actually needs, rather than running it through a validator and forwarding the report.
This part is not charged for. It happens on every file.
We tell you what we found
In plain English, with no jargon and no obligation. If the file is good to go, we say so and it goes straight to proof.
If something needs putting right, we tell you exactly what and why — and we do not touch the file until you have said how you want it handled.
You choose what happens next
Correct it yourself and resupply the file — we will check the new one the same way, still at no charge. Or let us do it for £10 +vat.
Either way you get a free photorealistic proof to approve before the full run is printed.
Technical Issues We'll Fix
None of these show up on a screen. Artwork that stops at the trim line leaves a white sliver down one edge once the cards are cut, text sitting too close to the edge loses its last letter, and an RGB file shifts colour on press. Should your file require any adjustments, our design team can take care of these.

If We Find Something, You Choose
Correcting the file yourself and resupplying it costs nothing.
We tell you exactly what needs changing and why. You or your designer put it right and send the file back.
We check the new version the same way, and that recheck is free too. Take as many goes at it as you need.
If you would rather hand it over, this is the whole of the charge — and once completed, you can be confident your artwork will be fully print-ready and your cards produced to the highest standard, without any delays or quality issues.

Email your file to sales@cpcards.co.uk and we will tell you what we find, free of charge and with nothing to commit to. We typically reply within 10 minutes during working hours.
