Memorial Keepsake Cards
An order of service is kept in a drawer. A wallet-sized memorial card, with a photograph on one side and a name, dates and a few words on the other, is carried.
CP Cards prints memorial keepsake cards for families and funeral directors, in full colour on durable plastic, manufactured in England since 1992.
What families put on them
- A favourite photograph
- Full name, with dates of birth and death
- A short verse, prayer or saying
- The date and place of the funeral or memorial
Photographs print in full colour, on one side or both. A sharp, well-lit photo prints best, and we check the resolution of every image you send and tell you if it is too small to print well.
Timing
The funeral date is fixed and it is usually close. Standard turnaround is 7 working days from proof approval and payment. An express service of 3 to 4 working days is also available (ask us for cost and availability), and delivery is free within Great Britain.
Help with the design
If you do not have the time or the software to lay out a card, our design service is £29 + VAT. Send the photograph and the wording, and we send you a proof to approve before anything is printed.
For funeral directors
Funeral directors can offer memorial cards alongside orders of service. Our name does not appear on the cards, and every order is posted in plain, unbranded packaging with no paperwork inside, so the cards can go to your client as part of your service.
How to Order
- Tell us how many cards you need and the date you need them by
- Send the photograph and wording, or ask our design team to lay out the card
- Approve a free digital proof
- Cards printed and dispatched in 7 working days, or 3 to 4 with express (ask us for cost and availability)
Minimum order 25 cards. Standard turnaround 7 working days from proof approval and payment, or 3 to 4 working days with express (ask us for cost and availability).
Choosing the photograph
The photograph is what people look at first. Choose one where the face is sharp and fills a good part of the frame. A group photo cropped down to one person often prints soft, because the face was small in the original. Photos taken on a phone are usually fine. Old prints can be used too, if they are scanned properly rather than photographed on a table; our high resolution guide explains what size works.
Why plastic
A paper card carried in a wallet wears through at the corners and the photograph fades. A plastic card is the same size and thickness as a bank card, and because the print is sealed under the surface, the photograph cannot be scratched or rubbed away.

Printed for families and funeral directors
Every file is checked for technical problems before it is printed, and you approve a photorealistic proof by email first. If you would like to see and hold a card before the full order, we can post a printed proof.
